So what is a moderator?
A moderator is usually a member of the community that acts like the police officer of the game/forum.
They can move/remove/lock threads and warn members, and they help with various tasks. They are lower ranked than the admins, yet whatever they say to a member you are to do it.
How do I become a moderator?
Asking rarely gets you anywhere. A moderator is chosen by the admins, a member that is helpful, active and loyal can become a moderator if they know a lot about the game. Moderators have powers and responsibilities they need to be careful of and use well, so only those who are trusted enough will be granted a MOD title.
Moderators;
-Are very active both in the game and on the forum at least twice a week.
-Get involved in activities hosted around the game/forum daily.
-Help anyone who needs it and spend their time being helpful for others.
-Follow all of the game rules and show other people what they did wrong if they break them.
-Deal with unacceptable situations.
Even though you may do all these things doesn't mean you will be a MOD. You can do all of these things, but admins are picky about Mods like with food, they need to add the right ingridient to the staff team. Not any random handful of salt.
How do I get in contact with a MOD or Admin?
There's a few ways of contacting a MOD; you should either PM them or contact them on places where they are active. (Other websites, skype, ect)
What do the different ADMIN/MOD titles mean?
Lead admin - The game creator, the most powerful of them all, turn up to them ONLY if in need of quick help.
Admins - Are the highest ranked, they are the 'alphas' of the community and can do mostly anything that the game allows.
Global Moderators - These are the mix inbetween admins and MODs, and are given more power, they can kick members and change things througout the community- they are the ones you turn up to if MODs aren't around.
Moderators -Are the ones that act like the general police. Lock/delete threads, create information posts and help out throughout the community.
A MOD banned me!
This was for a reason. And if not, an admin will ask them about it. You do NOT talk about bans/kicks in the community, you only talk about them to staff.
Are there MODbOTs like on other websites?
NO. They're people. They need everything a human needs, food, and loveeeee.
